Tell us a little bit about yourself

I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I played baseball, basketball, and football through high school, football and baseball in college, and football for 5 years after college. Since then, my professional background has been in medical devices and sports technology. I have been married for 10 years and have two boys under 3 years old. 

What motivates you?

I’m a naturally competitive person, whether in sports or professionally. So, I would say striving to be the best in what I’m doing is my primary motivation.

What does a day in the life look like for you? (professionally) 

When I am traveling, I love to stay busy and meet with as many current and prospective customers as possible. When I’m not on the road I’m generally working behind the scenes to line up meetings for future trips and industry events. With a portion of our team in Australia, the timing works out well for a lot of internal calls to be done after 8pm. This also works very well in our household as it’s after the boys’ bedtime and much calmer! 

What drew you to working with KangaTech?

I love being around good people, both within a company and the customers you’re able to work with. KangaTech was a perfect example of this. I also love being involved in athletics, especially when it comes to technology that can help athletes perform better and keep them healthier. 

What do you think is the number one reason customers choose KangaTech KT360?

I think we have a valid, reliable, and easy to use product which all helps. But I think the number one reason is our team. From top to bottom we really care about our customers as people and want to partner with them and their organisations. 

Which resources do you use to keep up with industry news?

I follow sports technology resources on various social media channels to keep up with trends and research that is being done in the space. I also follow our current customers to see what their interests are, whether it pertains to sports tech or otherwise. 

What are you most looking forward to in the next 12 months?

Professionally, I’m looking forward to helping KangaTech grow in North America and around the world. We currently work with a lot of awesome customers and it’s exciting to see the response as we present our system to more people in the sports industry and beyond.

Personally, I always look forward to spending time with my family. The next 12 months will be busy, I’m sure, trying to keep up with these two boys. But, a lot of fun!
