Introducing Haftom Hagoss - Sales and Marketing Administrator

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Born and raised in Melbourne, I graduated in 2022 from RMIT University with a bachelor of Business, majoring in marketing. I have also had the opportunity to work with major global brands as a model, such as Champion, Uniqlo, and Adidas. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my friends and family, listen to music, ride my bike, and go hiking. I am also an avid fan of Liverpool FC.

What drew you to study Marketing? 

Shaping the direction, strategy, and branding of a company has always interested me. Additionally, the versatility of studying marketing enables me to work in various sectors and industries.  

What motivates you?

I would say my family is my biggest inspiration. They came into this country for the prospect of better opportunities for their kids, so that pushes me and motivates me to be the best I can be, both professionally and personally.

What inspired you to join KangaTech as a part of your professional journey?

The opportunity to have a real impact on a fast-growing company was one of the things that drew me into working with KangaTech. This industry we work in is very fast-paced and has enabled me to learn so many things in such a short time. The opportunity to work and market to the biggest teams in the world is also a nice plus.

What do you think is the number one reason why customers choose KT360?

From a marketing perspective, most of the people who interact with our content online are thought leaders and innovators in the sports world, which reinforces the fact that we are the superior product in this space. Additionally, our customer success team does a wonderful job of guiding and assisting our customers. 

Which resources do you use to keep up with industry news or trends?

Websites like HubSpot provide a wealth of insightful articles and case studies that are both innovative and informative. Additionally, looking at other brands and companies outside of the sports technology world gives me inspiration and insight into how we can be more creative and stick out from the rest.

What are you most looking forward to in the next 12 months? 

I am heading over to Europe in November to work on a variety of different marketing projects for KangaTech. This includes the filming of all our new protocols, collaborating with some of our customers in the UK, and spending time with our EMEA team. I am also really excited to engage with our audience overseas.
